Dr. Anne Rao, Born and raised in India, came to Hagerstown, MD in 2000. She graduated from Sri Venkateswara Medical College in India and came to USA soon after her graduation in 2000. She completed her Pediatric Residency in Sinai Children’s Hospital, Chicago, IL. After residency, she worked for an year at NICHD Branch of National Institute of Health, Bethesda as a Clinical Research Fellow in Heritable Disorders Branch. During this time she was involved in taking care of patients with rare metabolic disorders. Dr. Rao joined the group with Dr. Weiss, Dr. Shuster ad Dr. Budi in 2012. She lives in the Boonsboro area, with her husband Dr. Samuel Rao, Family Practice, with Williamsport Family Practice and two children, Daughter, Rachel Anjali and Son, Joshua Jai.
